Unframed canvases are wrapped in glassine or acid-free tissue and sandwiched between rigid foam or board to prevent bending or creasing.

Why Artwork Needs Specialized Packing
Artwork is uniquely vulnerable in transit — glass can crack, surfaces can scratch, and frames can warp under pressure. Standard packing methods aren't designed for these risks.
We use acid-free tissue, glassine paper, foam board, corner protectors, and mirror/picture boxes specifically designed for artwork — the same materials used by galleries and auction houses.
